We viewed these boar in Sticklepath Woods not far from Magpie Bridge in December '06.
They seemed unaffected by our presence despite having a playful brown labrador with us.
We spent about an hour filming them before they headed further into the woods and we lost them.
I have since seen them at Long Ash where they often appeared at around 8pm throughout December.
The last sighting at Long Ash was early January '07 and I have since heard that there have been
sightings nearer Tavistock and even a litter of 8 piglets!
Unfortunately the numbers are reported to be dropping due to poaching
but I havn't heard or seen any conclusive evidence of this.
